Located in the Aveyron department, the Château d'Estaing is a 15th-century residence. It is located in the commune of Estaing, named after the castle. Former head of state Valéry Giscard d'Estaing comes from a family that draws its noble titles from the region. Valéry Giscard d'Estaing had therefore bought the castle and stayed there from time to time.

The castle is now accessible to the public and open for visits. Since 1945, the entrance pavilion, the castle and the terraces have been listed as historical monuments. The castle is therefore the subject of very special conservation.
